Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population including those with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis in a Critical Care Step Down Unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing rescue Bi-pap, high flow oxygen, trachs, and vents.
• Assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
• Employ critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management while collaborating with healthcare team members including PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT, and OT.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• PRN positions require at least one year of relevant RN experience and all certifications at hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN.
• Recognized professional certification.
