Seeking a dedicated staff nurse to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a busy surgical and trauma unit. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care from birth through the lifecycle, adhering to organizational policies and ensuring professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical, trauma, and medical patients, including those with complex needs such as drains, feeding tubes, and multiple injuries.
- Maintain professional standards and support team collaboration to promote patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Manage patient care activities, with staffing ratios influenced by patient volume and acuity.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates are eligible.
- Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor's degree and hospital experience; additional certifications in specialty areas.
