Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical, Night Shift

Role Overview: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards and values. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult medical patients.Monitor patients with diagnoses such as bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and pneumonia.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex care and ensure proper patient monitoring.Maintain documentation, uphold patient rights, and adhere to confidentiality standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Preferred: prior hospital experience, BSN, specialty certifications, and additional licensure.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform necessary nursing tasks.
