Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical, Night Shift

About the role

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5E unit, providing comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for ensuring quality care, evaluating team performance, coordinating with other departments, and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. The role involves assessing adult medical patients with diagnoses such as bowel obstructions, infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and pneumonia, offering opportunities to develop clinical skills like patient assessment, care planning, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Nursing Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Preferred: previous hospital experience, BSN, specialty certifications
