Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical, Night Shift

About the role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensure professional accountability, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Focus on complex medical conditions such as obstructions, infections, and respiratory issues.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Accredited nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact license.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospital experience.
• BSN degree.
• Additional licensure or certifications.
• Experience in specialty care areas.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Perform bending, stooping, and other physical movements as needed.
