About the role
A dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Medical Surgical unit, providing compassionate patient care in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Ensure adherence to service standards and professional accountability
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications preferred
- Previous hospital experience is preferred
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Prolonged standing, walking, and mobility during shifts
