About the role
Full-time night shift position in the Neuroscience Department at a 30-bed stroke and neuro injury unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice within organizational policies.
- Work in a fast-paced, inpatient setting with support from multidisciplinary team members such as stroke coordinators, therapists, physicians, case managers, and support staff.
- Participate in a thorough orientation program with preceptors to ensure successful integration into the neuro team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; new graduates are eligible.
- Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Hospital experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Advanced certifications in specialty.
