Registered Nurse - MedSurg, Neuro, Nights

Role: Staff Nurse in the Neuro Surgery Department at a primary Stroke center. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan on a fast-paced, 30-bed Neuroscience floor. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining professional standards and organizational policies. Coordinate care activities with multidisciplinary teams including Stroke Coordinators, PT/OT, Respiratory Therapy, physicians, and support staff. Participate in orientation and training to ensure quality care delivery. Qualifications: Graduate of a nursing program, valid Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license, and BLS certification. New graduates are eligible. Preferred qualifications include hospital experience, bachelor’s degree, and advanced certifications in specialty areas. Skills & Attributes: Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate professional growth, and manage patient care based on acuity and volume. Knowledge of nursing processes and adherence to standards of practice are essential.
