Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical - Inpatient

Key Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments, developing, implementing, and modifying individualized care plans.
• Documenting nursing care accurately and maintaining up-to-date records.
• Ensuring patient and staff safety by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.
• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team and providing patient education.
• Delegating tasks to healthcare assistants and validating task completion.
• Administering medications safely, following the "Five Rights."
• Responding promptly to patient needs and monitoring changes in patient conditions using critical thinking.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.
