Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Full-Time - Days

Role Overview

Seeking experienced Med Surg Registered Nurses to join a high-impact, multi-campus care team supporting patient-centered, evidence-based care. The role involves owning the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, building meaningful patient and family connections, and driving quality outcomes. Collaboration and creating a respectful team environment are essential, along with participating in performance improvement, research, and shared governance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, evidence-based nursing care aligning with best practices.
• Foster teamwork, contribute to staff engagement, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor fellow nurses and interdisciplinary team members, guiding professional growth.
• Lead in applying research and evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and safety.
• Plan proactively across patient care journeys, optimize resource use, and develop protocols to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required; national specialty certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and proficiency with computer data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills; ability to remain calm under pressure, with excellent critical thinking and time management abilities.
