A Med Surg RN supporting a high-impact, multi-campus care team, dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based patient care.
Responsibilities
- Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Build meaningful connections with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals.
- Foster a safe, respectful team environment, contributing to performance improvement and shared governance.
- Mentor and guide fellow nurses, supporting professional development and ongoing competency.
- Lead evidence-based practices, participate in research, and support continuous quality improvement.
- Plan care proactively, shape protocols, and ensure efficient resource management.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience and experience with computer data entry.
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to manage clinical emergencies calmly.
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
