About the Role
Provides direct nursing care within a MedSurg department, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure seamless patient management.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess patient discharge needs and collaborate with healthcare team members for planning.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must hold an active or eligible RN license in Alabama, with a diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of one year RN experience required.
- Certification in BLS from AHA or ARC obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
