About the role
We are seeking a professional Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, managing, and providing comprehensive patient care during hospital stays.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments, including admission, transfer, postoperative, and discharge evaluations, with accurate documentation.
- Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and physician orders.
- Administer medications, monitor IV fluids, and coordinate referrals and consultations.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and involve families in care decisions.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions, including pain management, restraint use, and abuse assessment.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication with colleagues, patients, and families.
- Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practices, and performance initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current RN license in the applicable state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of age-specific care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate, adapt to changing demands, and maintain a professional attitude.
- Commitment to safety, infection control, and delivering high-quality patient service.
