About the Role
The Head Nurse oversees patient care, staff management, and daily operations within a nursing unit. They utilize the nursing process to make critical decisions, partnering with patients and families to promote health and restore wellness while ensuring patient rights and dignity. They provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, maintaining care continuity aligned with organizational goals and policies.
Collaborating with leadership, they identify improvement opportunities, guide staff during critical situations, evaluate intervention outcomes, and implement innovative processes to enhance patient outcomes. They participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, mentoring, staffing, and performance evaluations, supporting ongoing learning and healthcare quality improvement. They perform additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting or unit.
- RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
- Computer literacy.
