Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

About the role

Provide comprehensive nursing care during patients' hospital stays, assessing, managing, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and evaluate patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and physician orders.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and coordinate care interventions.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and engage with multidisciplinary teams.
• Recognize clinical changes, ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with policies.
• Deliver respectful, high-quality service with effective communication, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Participate in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and team collaboration.
• Provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, promote cost-effective practices, and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• Licensed RN in applicable states with current BLS certification.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to changing demands, and uphold safety and infection control standards.
