About the role
Join Saint Luke's South Rehabilitation Institute as a Registered Nurse, where you'll help patients regain their independence while working in a positive, collaborative environment. This role allows you to care for patients throughout their rehab journey, develop lasting relationships, and see the impact of your care every day.
You'll practice in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology, supplies, and resources, working alongside an outstanding interdisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, nursing professionals, and even a therapy dog. This unique rehab setting is often described as the "happy side of nursing," where you celebrate progress and milestones with your patients while delivering medical-surgical level care without the demands of telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical-surgical level nursing care to rehabilitation patients.
- Manage and prioritize care for multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support patients throughout their rehab journey, fostering meaningful relationships and celebrating progress.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or a Compact license.
- Less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience (entry-level considered).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Schedule
Full Time Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM.
