*Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Overview
Department: Medical Surgical
Schedule: Part Time Nights, 7:00pm - 7:30am, 2-12-hour shifts
Facility: Prime Healthcare Olympia Field Hospital
Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois 60461
Sign-on bonus: Up to $5,000.00 (eligibility and payout terms apply; details discussed during interview process)
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit
- Assume direct responsibility and accountability for the care given to assigned patients
- Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current (preferred)
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience (preferred)
- Ventilator Management experience (preferred)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
Pay & Benefits
Compensation estimate: $35.35 to $53.58 per hour (includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation; exact starting compensation determined by skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure)
