Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

About the role

Provides direct nursing care in a Med Surg setting, ensuring patient well-being according to organizational policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans
• Assess, record, and communicate patient conditions
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and discharge planning
• Follow physician and nursing orders

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credential from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross

Key Duties

Deliver holistic, patient-centered care through effective coordination, assessment, and communication. Serve as a primary caregiver, ensuring quality care and smooth discharge processes.
