About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care during hospital stays in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing thorough assessments, including admission, transfer, and post-procedure evaluations.
- Developing and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnosis, lab data, and physician orders.
- Administering medications, IV fluids, and coordinating referrals and discharge planning.
- Monitoring patient conditions, recognizing changes, and implementing appropriate nursing actions.
- Providing specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Documenting care, communicating effectively with team members, and ensuring continuity of care.
- Supporting infection control, safety protocols, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Engaging in professional development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and respect for patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications and skills
- Current RN license in the respective state and required certifications (e.g., BLS).
- Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work collaboratively in a team.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional growth.
Schedule
Night shift with rotating weekends and holidays.
