Role
Provides direct medical-surgical nursing care following organizational policies and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes nursing standards to enhance patient care and evaluate practice effectiveness.
- Establishes relationships and advocates for patients, families, and significant others to develop individualized care plans.
- Implements the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Considers physical, cultural, social, economic, spiritual, and developmental factors in care strategies.
- Coordinates with inter-professional teams and communicates effectively for collaborative decision-making.
- Educates patients and families on health maintenance and recovery measures.
- Serves as a mentor, applying evidence-based practices to ensure age-specific and clinical needs are met.
- Performs point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Registered Nurse licensure in relevant states with required certifications such as BLS.
- No prior experience required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills.
- Physical ability to perform nursing tasks, including standing, lifting, and patient movement.

This role involves night shifts and is part of the medical/surgical department, with a focus on safe, compassionate, and holistic patient care.
