About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in our Medical Stepdown department.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by team members
- Carefully coordinates patient care across departments
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Valid RN licensure in Missouri or compact licensure
- BLS certification required
- Prior hospital experience and additional certifications preferred
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling
