Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Stepdown

About the Role

Join our team as a Medical Stepdown Nurse at Lankenau Medical Center, where you'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 17-bed unit. Your care for medical, respiratory, and cardiac stepdown patients will be integral to their patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and treatment for medical, respiratory, and cardiac stepdown patient populations.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 17-bed unit.

Development & Growth

• Attend MLH Education & Development Classes offering relevant courses, tools, and resources.
• Receive ongoing feedback and career development through performance appraisals and 1:1 communication with your manager.
• Engage in hospital and system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• One year of recent Stepdown level Nurse experience required.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
• ACLS preferred.

Schedule

Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Additional hours available for pick-up if desired.
