Registered Nurse - Stepdown

About the Role

Provides direct nursing care in a stepdown setting, performing complex assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive patient data and analyzes findings.
• Collaborates with patients and healthcare teams to determine care goals.
• Applies evidence-based practices to ensure safe and effective care.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintains current knowledge to enhance nursing practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license required.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., BLS, ALS, PALS).

Qualifications

Open to candidates with or without prior experience.

Physical Requirements

• Constant communication and movement throughout the shift.
• Occasional lifting of patients or equipment.
