About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions, coordinating with the healthcare team to deliver quality care. The RN oversees care delivery by LPNs and CNAs, develops individualized treatment plans, and participates in clinical team conferences. They ensure compliance with hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines and document all patient interactions accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Supervise and collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Participate in clinical conferences and quality improvement activities

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the practice state
  • BLS/ACLS certification upon hire
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN within four years for ASN/ADN holders unless exempted
  • Ability to assess physical and psychological patient needs, communicate compassionately, and operate complex equipment
  • Physical dexterity for patient transfers, operating monitors, and navigating clinical environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members
