Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, develops individualized treatment plans, and ensures compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures. They oversee care provided by LPNs and CNAs, participate in clinical conferences, and communicate compassionately with patients and families. Required qualifications include a current RN license, BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. Additional skills involve manual dexterity, physical stamina for patient transfers, and effective communication.
