Registered Nurse - Medical Neurology

About the role

This registered nurse position involves providing high-quality patient care in a neurology unit specializing in stroke, epilepsy, and general neurology services. The RN coordinates nursing care, educates patients and families, and supports transitions of care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care
• Participate in complex discharge planning
• Contribute to quality improvement and leadership activities
• Mentor and teach
• Potentially drive personal vehicle for job-related duties

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• At least one year of RN experience
• Current RN licensure
• Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills
• BLS certification mandatory
• Additional state licensure or certifications as needed
