Registered Nurse - Med Tele (5100) Nights

Join a dedicated educational nursing environment in a specialized unit. This role involves caring for Medical Telemetry patients in an 18-bed unit focused on teaching upcoming graduate nurses. As a nurse, you will act as a preceptor to two senior nursing students, overseeing patient care with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio during day shifts. You will support student learning through direct mentorship and collaborate with clinical rotation preceptors for oversight. Key Responsibilities Include Providing patient care in a teaching-focused settingMentoring nursing students and supporting their skill developmentEnsuring best practices and patient safetyContributing to the educational growth of future nurses Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)Current RN licensure in the appropriate state or compact licensureAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or willing to complete it during probationACLS and BLS certifications, obtained within 90 days if not already held Preferred experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience.
