Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Unit
About the Role
Alice Hyde Medical Center is a 20-bed acute care facility with an 11-bed Emergency Room. Nurses working on the Medical/Surgical floor function within a primary nurse care model with a 1:5 patient ratio and Nurse Aide support. As an RN on Med/Surg, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high-quality care to a diverse patient population. BLS certification is required; ACLS is offered and encouraged. Med/Surg and Wound Care certification is supported. A Clinical Ladder program is available. We are a NYSNA Union partner. Nursing teams at AHMC have embraced a culture of safety, autonomy, and collaboration. On-call is not required.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York
- Appropriate experience in the specific clinical area (varies by unit)
