Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele/Oncology/OBV - Night Shift

About the role

This position is for a registered nurse (RN) providing care across various units such as Med/Surg, Telemetry, Oncology, and OBV, primarily during night shifts. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while maintaining current competency standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient and family-centered care.
• Contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
• Ensure safety protocols and emergency procedures are followed.
• Supervise and guide staff in providing quality care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

At least one year of nursing experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification. Effective communication skills and ability to supervise staff. Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required depending on unit needs.
