Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Orthopedic Trauma

About the role

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital ortho-trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and throughout shifts, promptly reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic effects, and respond to adverse reactions.
• Respond to patient requests, anticipate needs, and provide exceptional care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and outstanding patient experiences.

Requirements

• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years (10+ years of experience exempt).
• Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Specialty certification.
