Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

About the Role

Provide patient care through assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment, documenting all interventions. Promote interdisciplinary communication and tailor care based on patients' age, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. Demonstrate basic and unit-specific competencies and contribute to improving patient outcomes and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment.
• Document all nursing interventions.
• Promote interdisciplinary communication.
• Tailor care based on patients' age, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
• Demonstrate basic and unit-specific competencies.
• Contribute to improving patient outcomes and nursing practices.

Requirements

• Colorado RN license or multistate license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least two years of RN experience in an acute setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cardiac life support.
• Experience in units such as Ortho Trauma, PCU, Surgical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, or Medical Telemetry is preferred.
