Registered Nurse - Maternal Air Transport

About the role

The Registered Nurse Maternal Air Transport provides emergency and stabilization care for high-risk maternal patients in collaboration with medical control, ensuring safe transport and adherence to hospital policies, standards, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Serve as a professional ambassador to referring facilities
• Perform transport duties daily
• Comply with policies, procedures, and state regulations
• Ensure safe and effective maternal patient transport
• Collaborate with medical teams
• Uphold professional standards to support high-risk obstetric care

Requirements

• Nursing degree
• Active RN license
• BCLS and NRP certifications
• RNC-OB and C-EFM certifications within specified timeframes

Qualifications

Preferably, at least 3 years of clinical experience in a tertiary obstetrical care setting.
