Registered Nurse NICU Air Transport

Role: NICU Transport Nurse responsible for stabilizing and providing emergency neonatal care during ground and air transports within a regional area. Responsibilities: Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe transport, perform daily transport duties, and serve as a professional representative to referring facilities and providers.Practice: Follow hospital policies, protocols, state Nurse Practice Acts, and AAP Guidelines for Transport.Care Delivery: Deliver critical neonatal care with full procedural scope, supported by comprehensive training and a collaborative team model. Qualifications Graduate of nursing school and valid RN license in practice state(s), with active compact license if applicable.Current BCLS and NRP certification, maintained throughout employment.Minimum of 3 years NICU experience in a tertiary obstetrical care setting. Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical skills, ability to perform in high-pressure situations, excellent communication, and collaborative teamwork.
