About the Role

The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management for a specific clinical unit, promoting excellence in patient care, staff retention, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Engages staff through shared governance and fosters a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence.
• Serves as the chief retention and safety officer, managing resources and analyzing financial and operational data to improve performance.
• Builds strong interdisciplinary relationships, promotes professional growth, and maintains high standards of nursing practice and ethics.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives, supports evidence-based practice, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implements change management strategies and fosters a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Manages budgets, utilizes data for decision-making, and advocates for organizational credibility in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• Active RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.
