Responsibilities

• Regulatory Excellence: Ensure absolute compliance with all health-care accreditation, regulatory, and safety requirements across the unit.
• Talent Life-cycle Management: Lead the recruitment, training, professional development, and performance evaluation of departmental staff.
• Clinical Problem-Solving: Pro-actively identify and resolve systemic barriers to optimize the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Policy Architecture: Design and implement clinical policies and procedures that maximize efficiency and care effectiveness.
• Fiscal Stewardship: Manage unit budgets and oversee expenditures to drive fiscal responsibility and resource alignment.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Education Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience AND 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. Management experience preferred
