Registered Nurse, Main Operating Room, PRN, Baptist Downtown

About the role

This is a PRN Registered Nurse position for the Main OR Team at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.
• Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate.
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Operating Room Circulating Nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active Licensed Registered Nurse credential.
• Associate of Science in Nursing.

This position is located at Baptist Downtown, Main Building.
