About the role

We provide a full spectrum of preventive and specialty care through 200+ locations and six hospitals, including Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Prepare patients and rooms for procedures
• Cookordinate care with ancillary services
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
• Complete documentation and patient assessments

Requirements

• 1–2 years Surgical Services Experience
• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
• Conscious Sedation Certification (preferred)

Skills

• Surgical or procedural experience
• Enjoyment of patient interaction
• Fast-paced workflow skills
