Registered Nurse, Day Stay, PRN, Baptist Downtown

This is a PRN Registered Nurse position in the Day Stay Unit at Baptist Downtown, a fast-paced peri-operative unit specializing in PreOp and Phase 2 recovery, with a patient volume of 50-60 cases per day.
Responsibilities
- Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of care provided by supportive personnel, and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
- Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
- Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs, and anticipation of case requirements
Requirements
- 2-3 years of Surgical Services Nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Active Licensed Registered Nurse credential
- Associate of Science in Nursing
