About the role
Per diem Registered Nurse or LPN in a new acute rehabilitation hospital, providing safe, compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diverse needs of patients and families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans integrating direct and indirect care activities.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care, including treatment and discharge planning.
- Perform hourly rounds to enhance communication, safety, and anticipate patient needs.
- Collaborate with care partners to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Utilize SBAR communication to ensure safe handoffs and transitions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN/LVN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Preferred: One year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care.
