Registered Nurse - Per Diem Nights

About the role

This Registered Nurse (RN) position on the Medical/Telemetry Unit focuses on delivering safe, compassionate patient care in alignment with Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and create discharge plans.
• Conduct hourly rounds to enhance safety and address patient needs.
• Collaborate with care partners to meet educational and emotional needs of patients.
• Use SBAR communication practices to ensure safe handoffs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
