Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN

Responsibilities

• Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift on assigned unit
• Assess needs of Veterans and ensures services are consistent with needs
• Implement Veteran MDS and care plan according to healthcare protocol
• Make rounds with the physician, inform of status of patients and receive instructions for care and treatment
• Transcribe and implement physician’s orders accurately
• Document accurately all nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in electronic medical record (EMR)
• Give medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician accurately with follow-up observations
• Auxiliary Veterans with various needs such as transferring, positioning, transporting, feeding, promoting elimination, toileting, bathing and showering, etc.
• Auxiliary Veteran upon admission and/or discharge
• Participate in orientation of unit staff

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Missouri, in good standing
• No Benefits Provided
