Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Float Pool

Role Overview: This RN position provides direct patient care within the Women & Infants specialty units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU, supporting multiple hospitals in a float pool capacity. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process, prioritize patient safety, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, model proficiency through precepting, and contribute to evidence-based practice. Support specialty education and training to ensure competency validation. Qualifications & Skills: Must have a valid RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years’ experience), and relevant women & infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship. Certifications include BLS and NRP within six months of hire, with additional certifications such as RNC-OB, C-EFM, or CCRN preferred. Key Duties: Support onsite patient care, adapt to rotating day/night shifts, and work within established standards and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical environment.
