Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Full Time, Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled nursing leader to oversee unit operations, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Include Providing unit-based leadership and supervising nursing and ancillary staff to deliver safe, cost-effective, and patient-centered care.Developing care plans, monitoring patient safety, and enhancing patient and family satisfaction.Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality measures, and hospital policies through participation in performance improvement initiatives.Assessing staffing needs, assigning personnel based on patient acuity, and managing staff performance, coaching, and discipline.Maintaining department safety, equipment, and cleanliness, while managing budgets and minimizing overtime.Participating in policy development, resolving operational issues, and addressing patient care concerns. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred.At least five years of technical nursing experience with supervisory skills.Current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and fetal heart monitoring required.Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment abilities. This role involves overseeing clinical services, staff management, quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to promote optimal patient outcomes.
