About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to ensure optimal outcomes.
RNs delegate and direct care activities, monitor patient responses, revise care plans as needed, and maintain professionalism and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Delegate and direct care activities, monitor patient responses, and revise care plans as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of inpatient acute care experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
