Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities Assess: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, social, and psychological status, incorporating input from team members, patients, and families.Plan: Develop individualized care plans with active involvement from patients, families, and healthcare teams, including education and follow-up support.Implement: Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, ensuring delivery aligns with established guidelines, while managing resources effectively.Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as needed.Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote professional growth. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact license transfers if applicable.BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Skills in patient care, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, and critical thinking. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, read, communicate clearly, and manipulate equipment with manual dexterity.Capability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and supplies, often in busy environments.May involve prolonged standing, walking, and driving as needed.
