About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practice. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans involving patients and families, and coordinate care delivery by delegating tasks and managing resources effectively. The RN evaluates patient responses, revises care plans as needed, and promotes professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring accurate documentation and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and revise individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate care delivery by delegating tasks and managing resources effectively.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and involve patients and families in care planning.
  • Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring accurate documentation and scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the practice state.
  • BSN preferred; required for new hires.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively.
  • Manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling patients.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients.
  • Ability to navigate busy environments.
  • May involve driving.
