Intermediate Care Float Pool RN providing professional nursing care across two hospital campuses.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per physician orders
- Oversee clinical support tasks within scope of practice
- Develop individualized care and discharge plans
- Delegate effectively and manage patient assignments
- Educate patients and families, supporting informed decisions
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development
- Guide and precept new staff members
- Provide direct patient care and clinical support
- Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice
- Mentor and support staff development
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain documentation standards
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Relevant certifications based on department
- Experience level varies from novice (<12 months) to expert (8+ years)
Qualifications
Preferred: BSN degree
