Registered Nurse - Float Pool

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Registered Nurse to provide patient care across multiple units in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves working in various care areas, including inpatient specialties, ensuring high-quality care while adhering to infection control policies and PPE protocols. Responsibilities include frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and collaborating with healthcare teams. The nurse will serve a diverse patient population ranging from early adult to elderly, with a focus on delivering compassionate and efficient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple inpatient units
• Adhere to infection control policies and PPE protocols
• Engage in frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license
• CPR and ACLS certification within 3 months of hire
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing and professional certification
