Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit PRN
About the role
The Intensive Care Unit at Holy Rosary is a 5-bed ICU. It offers expanded services including Tele-critical care with Intermountain Intensivists providing 24/7 critical care and oversight. It is part of a Level 4 trauma team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Performs health teaching and health counseling.
- Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with, delegation to, supervision of, or teaching of others.
- Executes delegated medical functions.
- Refers to patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Uses resources as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Nurses with an ASN degree hired after July 1, 2020 will be required to obtain their BSN within five (5) years of employment when hired into an Acute Care or Residential Living position.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- PALS certification within one year of hire.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's degree of Nursing is preferred.
- Certification as appropriate for the unit or service is preferred.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $34.11 - $51.73
Schedule
Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required. Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required for identified positions.
