Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) PRN
About the role
Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including 12-hour shifts during the day (7a-7p) or night (7p-7a), with a requirement to be available for a minimum of 4 shifts per month, including 2 weekend shifts and 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage care of ICU level patients including all critical care medications, ventilators, invasive monitoring devices, bedside procedures, rapid response and code team response, trauma RED response, and all other critical care needs.
- Works professionally in collaboration with other departments such as respiratory therapy, cardiac cath lab, operating room, emergency department and all other therapies (PT, OT, ST).
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
- Current Arizona or Compact State RN license.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
- Minimum of 1 year+ of ICU experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and TNCC certification within 6 months of hire.
- American Heart Association certifications: ACLS, PALS, and CCRN preferred.
- Handle with Care certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours and meet the schedule requirements.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay
Commensurate with experience.
Schedule
